ESP featured in Ocean Gazing Podcast

Ocean Gazing, a podcast about ocean science and technology, recently released an episode on the ESP. Featured in the podcast are our partners at MBARI and McLane’s own Cheri Everlove.  Dr. James Birch explains how the ESP works at the cable ocean observatory Monterey Accelerated Research System (MARS).  Birch and Everlove also explain the ESP’s significance in HAB (Harmful Algal Blooms) research and monitoring water quality. Ocean Gazing is hosted by Ari Shapiro who received his Ph.D.  through the MIT/WHOI program.
