May 16 Stellwagen Program
Wednesday May 16 from 4-7 PM, MOTN, MTS/NE and USGS are hosting a program on current research efforts and technology used at Stellwagen Bank National Marine Sanctuary. The program, which will be held in Fall River, MA marks 20 years since Stellwagen Sanctuary was established. McLane's steel flotation has been used in research buoys within the sanctuary. Stellwagen Bank is one of 14 sites in the National Marine Sanctuary System. In addition to a panel discussion, keynotes will be presented by Kris Newhall, Senior Engineering Assistant, Woods Hole Oceanographic Institution &Mark Lambton, General Manager, EOM Offshore, Inc.
